Are the Saccone Jolys Moving Again

One wedding, four babies and a combined half dozen.8m followers later, Jonathan and Anna Saccone Joly have vowed to do it all over again - or the cake bit, at least.

ver the past decade, the couple have become a double-barrelled household name by sharing every detail of their love story, from courtship to childbirth and beyond on YouTube.

At present Ireland's top vloggers take revealed how information technology'll exist 'I Do' - accept 2 - when they mark their tin hymeneals ceremony this September.

"For our 10-year anniversary we're going to redo our wedding considering nosotros didn't take a photographer, we didn't have a videographer, we didn't accept a band, we didn't accept anything," jokes Jonathan. "We got one slice of cake and it was gone - we never saw information technology again!"

"Information technology was really bones," agrees Anna, who was born in the U.s.a. to an Irish mam and Italian dad before moving to Cork aged vii.

"We didn't take a lot of coin at all ... so things like my flowers I didn't cull considering I went for the bones pack. I got my hymeneals dress on eBay for £200 (€233) and information technology arrived in a black bin bag.

"Obviously my mood board now would be a lot more glamorous than it was back so," she laughs. "Just nosotros were being realistic for what nosotros could beget."

Since tying the knot in Italy in 2011, the internet power couple have welcomed a brood of four: Emilia (eight), Eduardo (six), Alessia (three) and Andrea (two), who have become mini YouTube stars in their own right on the family unit's channel, also as on Instagram and TikTok.

And daddy cool Jonathan - who famously only started the channel to impress Anna - admitted he's nonetheless in abiding awe of his all-time friend and wife.

"Anna had 4 children in her twenties," gushes the 41-year-old from Dublin. "I did nothing in my twenties!

"I started to grow up in my thirties but I merely can't imagine doing what Anna did in her twenties, getting married and having four kids.

"I think a huge advantage for our marriage is that the marriage comes second to the friendship," continues Jonathan, who famously beat Prince William and Declan Donnelly to be crowned the Great britain's Glory Dad of the Year 2019. "We're best mates first, we both have the same career goals in mind and we both take very similar parenting ideas.

"Yep, we fight every twenty-four hour period like everybody does, only yous don't become to sleep on a fight. Sometimes, you know, when you lot're having a really bad fight information technology does go along for a while, merely at the end of the day, once you cool off a chip, you know that the friendship scrap is more than powerful."

"Nosotros'd have the same core values, so that helps," adds Anna (33) on juggling iv children under the age of eight in lockdown.

"I hateful, Jonathan's mum did it also, and my mum has three and I expect dorsum and my grandmother had iv, and she didn't have any assistance.

"So I kind of look to those women and think, wow, if they [could do information technology], well, and then, I can manage."

Webtrepreneurs Anna and Jonathan's numbers offset went skyward when they broadcast their eldest daughter'southward nascency on YouTube in 2012.

Although they've since opened up about everything from suffering miscarriage to being trolled by strangers on the online reality show, Jonathan insisted at that place are however some elements of their lives that remain private.

"Our business organisation relationship is definitely unlike to our personal relationship," explains the social media star, who also produces, directs and edits the videos. "Our personal human relationship is not something we actually circulate. Fifty-fifty though we do share a lot of our life, we don't share a lot of our life either.

"Having the kids definitely takes a huge strain on your time that you accept together," he concedes. "So Midweek nights are our date night. We brand our own pizza and we picket some crappy Netflix together.

"We're at a phase at present where I know lots of divorces happening and it'south like, woah, I remember when anybody was dating and then anybody was getting engaged and and so everyone was married and then you go through a generation of babies and house-buying.

"It would be very difficult if Anna was a doctor, or something like that, and then I was doing what I'k doing, because I think people are always growing, they're always evolving. I think that you would grow apart.

"But because we both are in the same business concern together, we're evolving to the aforementioned destination all the time. I recollect that but keeps u.s.a. together."

Earning an estimated €200,000 a year through advertising, the busy parents at present live in the Surrey countryside in the UK with their immature family, which as well includes six Maltese dogs.

Ahead of their milestone wedding anniversary later this year, even so, Jonathan confesses that he never really got down on bended knee in the offset place - spilling all on new podcast Existent Weddings with Sara hosted by Irish Hymeneals Weblog founder Sara Kennedy.

"When nosotros got [engaged] it was one of those things where we were living together for a couple of years and so it was similar, 'so should we get merely married or something?,'" he recalls.

"Then about a month before the nuptials I was similar, 'right, I need to suggest to Anna'. I don't want our story to be that nosotros both but agreed to become married.

"I got her mum to telephone call her and I filled our flat with roses and put candles downward and so texted her mum like, 'tell her to get off the phone and come downstairs'.

"When you go downwards to propose to someone it's really weird, you're like a bumbling fool.

"Nosotros were [a few years into filming] for SacconeJolys, so information technology would have been bad-mannered if she said no."

Despite looking forwards to the chance for an 'I Practise'-over, meanwhile, Jonathan reckons marriage isn't everything. "When we expect back, it was such a mess," he jokes of their large mean solar day.

"There was loads of things that we missed, but and then considering the nuptials was not the acme of our human relationship, it means that our relationship is still really stiff 10 years later.

"Our hymeneals day wasn't the best day of our lives - the best day of our lives is every mean solar day."
