Masks non required inside campus facilities

As a result of the state dropping its mask mandate on Feb. 11, visitors to St. Bonaventure University are no longer required to wear masks inside campus facilities. Of course, visitors should feel comfortable wearing masks whenever they adopt.

Performing Arts Series

Concerts and theatrical performances co-presented annually past the Quick Heart and Friends of Good Music, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding the cognition and appreciation of the performing arts in the Olean expanse.

Friends of Good Music and the Regina A.  Quick Center have teamed upwardly for years to the bring exciting live performances of classical and international music to the Quick Middle stage. The serial repertoire has expanded over the years to include theatrical performances and other forms of entertainment.

Season subscriptions and single-operation tickets are bachelor, with St. Bonaventure students offered a discounted rate of merely $5 per unmarried-effect ticket.

The Konrad Paszkudski Trio

Tunes from the American Songbook

Afterwards studying jazz piano in his native Australia, Konrad moved to the U.S. and toured extensively with jazz greats such as trumpeter James Morrison and the John Pizzarelli Quartet, leading more than than 1,000 performances in just four years. In 2017 he became artistic director of the legendary Ballroom on the West Declension and founded his own trio. Their focus is on standards — tunes collectively known every bit the American Songbook. Mexican Music & Painting with guest speaker Benjamin Juarez

Cuarteto Latinoamericano presents a concert focusing on the paintings from the time of Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and other artists besides as music by prominent composers of the time. This concert features projections and commentary about the connections among painting, music, and history.

Presented in conjunction with the Quick Centre exhibition "Frida Kahlo's Gardens" produced by NEH On The Route.

Western New York Chamber Orchestra

With Conductor Glen Cortese and soloists Barry Crawford, flute, and Sonja Inglefield, harp

This popular ensemble from Western New York includes outstanding players from the kinesthesia at the State University of New York at Fredonia's School of Music likewise as professional musicians from Buffalo, Rochester, Erie (Pennsylvania) and across. 2019 International Contest Winners

The Merz Trio has performed at major concert venues in New York, Boston, and Chicago, too as in Australia and the U.k..

Almanac Vacation Concert

From New York City, Frisson features the best and brightest of classical music'due south ascent stars. 2018 International Competition Winners

The multi-instrumental quartet, winner of the 2018 Concert Artists Lodge International Competition, encompasses traditions from beyond America, including bluegrass, Appalachian fiddle tunes, jazz, and minimalism. Fueled by their passion for storytelling, Invoke weaves all of these styles together to class a unique repertoire, featuring gimmicky original works composed by and for the grouping.
